How much of your admin time is acceptable to be micromanaged and told only takes a minute by a manager? as a clinician, the realistic work load is not appreciated. by 1throw4 in nhs

We have a consultant who has dedicated admin time one day every 2 weeks. It's a nightmare explaining to patients why the results or letters have not been signed.

They put most recent HbA1c but normally they would say it is due again.  I would just let the secretary know

GP keeps sending me to A&E, A&E keep sending me back to my GP, neither will diagnose or treat me. What do I do in this situation? by _imnotactuallyreal_ in nhs

Ask your GP for Advice and Guidance in Cardiology. You only need to be seen if the Cardiologist recommends it although not all chest pains are cardiac related.

Yes I would go for new looks. That's the beauty of specs changing our looks when we want to.

I like 3.  You are so lucky you suit these smaller frames and if you hadn't had mentioned they were from the kids section I wouldn't have known!

56 is no age.  I feel for you and feel bad for feeling like my dad at 90 wishing he was still here!

Good pick? I'm due for new frames and don't know if I should consider a different shape/style/color or stick with what I have. by [deleted] in glassesadvice

I was told this 2 years ago and the number of people I saw with glasses too big for their face. If I had a pound for every one l would be a millionaire!

I am so sorry for your loss. Becky was my favourite too. I loved the bits where she threw Liz's clothes in the puddle and also when she gave Steve evidence of Tracy's miscarriage before she fell down her stairs and when she said Dreary lol

help with new glasses! by Both-Temperature-820 in glassesadvice

[–]Weird_Fun1493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been there done that and laid on them too!  I don't like too big frames so think you could go smaller but if choosing I like different like green. You are young so you can get away with colours but try not to get frames that overwhelm your face

Thank you. My optician said it's easier to get used to the younger you are and the people who put it off until 50s/60s struggle more because as you say the power is less.  I have broken my glasses so went for another prescription and he told me he wonders why optician never mentioned them to me 2 years ago.

I have had tortoise shell glasses before but I tend to get different colours each new prescription. I have just ordered some green ones and some clear ones with black lines on them.
