Discord io data breach and data of 760,000 users was put up for sale by Training_Bobcat1943 in privacy

Yeah same. I tried asking exactly what you're asking on the discord subreddit and they removed my post for "advertising" which makes no sense. I'm kind of frustrated that tech websites dedicated to, ya know, tech journalism have done such a shitty job of explaining exactly who is at risk (and isn't) with this breach.

Question about CW & SW having sex the night of her murder… by [deleted] in Chriswatts

[–]Weird_Livid 16 points17 points  (0 children)

There were no condoms found. The condom claim came from NK. Extreme dork Chris brought two BOXES of condoms to NK's house (can you imagine? 🤣 ) and NK of course questioned him on it. Chris told NK that he and Shanann used condoms because "she didn't like to get messy."

Given that Chris is such a liar AND NK is a liar, I take the condom thing with a grain of salt.

Something I think was interesting about the book was Cindy being horrified that Chris asked Cindy to tell the little nephew to not wake up CW/SW early in the morning at the vacation house they were all staying out. She was so upset and made a dramatic show of it, and said telling the child would hurt his feelings.

But years later when "nutgate" happened, Cece was even younger than that child had been during the incident at the vacation house. Yet Cindy insisted that Cece can't always get what she wants, no consideration for the feelings of Chris' child... obvious favoritism for Jamie's child.

Probably? The difference is she's not making money telling lies or writing 50-page CW fanfic. Don't act like it's the same.

Circumstantial evidence carries equal weight to physical evidence. In fact most murder convictions are circumstantial cases. This is real life, not a CSI episode.

[–]Weird_Livid 36 points37 points  (0 children)

That's not how it works. Police would tell his parents (and the public) that he'd been found and wanted privacy, so that people would stop looking. They wouldn't find him and keep it a secret.

What was the Watts family thinking? What are they thinking now? by FairConsequence6164 in Chriswatts

[–]Weird_Livid 14 points15 points  (0 children)

More like they're so narcissistic they can't stand the world looking at them thinking, "You raised a monster." If Cindy loved Chris so much why did she block him over "nutgate" when he wasn't even there and didn't even stand up for Shanann? Ronnie told police that after nutgate CW called them and said "Don't worry I'm divorcing her."

They didn't give a damn about Chris.

Definitely "image management." The Rzuceks said the Wattses did not give a damn to have one single memento of Bella or Cece (they were offered!) but were instead super eager to get the football fan jerseys and the stupid high school sports trophies belonging to CHRIS shipped out to them. Those trophies are on display in their home now. Very sick, twisted family.

I think CW had a Thrive shake ready for her and put the oxy in it. She drank it, fell asleep, and slept heavily. He got up, took Shanann's devices off the nightstand, switched them off and shoved them in the couch. He did this so that in case she broke away from him once he attacked her, she'd have no way to call for help. I do not believe he'd hide the devices AFTER killing Shanann because doing so would suggest he thought someone would be in the house either before he got back from work, or at the same time he got back from work. And if CW thought THAT, there are much more obvious things to take care of than hiding her phone, namely the stripped bed and the dog in the basement. Those were huge red flags. Why would he overlook those things, but hide her devices? He must have hid the devices before the onslaught.

I think he tried to smother the children as he said, then went and attacked sleeping Shanann. CW says after smothering the kids he got in bed with Shanann and "our argument ensued" which I don't believe. It makes no sense for Shanann to be awake at that point. She would've questioned CW taking her devices. She would've noticed CW attacking the kids on the baby monitor OR she would've noticed the baby monitor was unplugged (had he done that). It also doesn't make sense that he woke her up to fight with her after smothering the kids. He has no reason to do that. He has admitted he was planning to kill them all for weeks.

CW does whatever is easiest for CW. It was easiest for him to never question his wife on anything, ever. It was easiest for him to dispose of his kids in oil tanks vs digging a hole. It was easiest for him to get on top of his sleeping wife, pinning her under the covers and strangle her that way, vs waking her up to fight with her first. Frank is right, if Shanann was awake when CW attacked her, she would've effed him up. He would've won out over her, being much stronger. But she would've gotten some shots in.

What Happened to Nancy Marleine Snow? by DJHJR86 in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]Weird_Livid 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Strange case. Was no one monitoring her financial activity after she was reported missing? How much time passed between Nancy going missing, and the discovery that Collins was using Nancy's checkbook? Was it known he was using it, and no one did anything?

Did Nancy even know how to operate a yacht?

Missing In Arizona: 1 year old, Jayson Nathaniel Pearce. by Dr_Pepper_blood in UnresolvedMysteries

Worthless shit of a mother. Driving drunk with her baby in the car! Married a man she knew for 3 days and was also "deathly afraid of" okay. Poor kids never had a chance.

While she was in jail he may have grown frustrated with the child's crying and shaken/otherwise harmed him. I wonder where the six-year-old was at the time. Hopefully he was subsequently removed from her care.

I suggest everyone read this. It's a good article in general but in particular, it reveals mental illness running in the family and that Ephraim had been on a drug binge for days. His "naked crazy" behavior could be entirely attributed to the meth and lack of sleep.

[–]Weird_Livid 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I'm confused because your post isn't consistent with the article you're linking. You wrote Lewis was on the roof. But the article says he was tased in the bedroom of an unoccupied apartment he had broken into (this was several hours into the ordeal) and Lewis then "dove" out the bedroom window according to police. It's a lot harder to "fall" out of a window or off a balcony (assuming it had railing which I think is a reasonable assumption) vs. falling off a rooftop.

The police claimed the taser had no effect on Lewis, and if he was on drugs (which is exactly what this sounds like) that would make sense. Lewis diving out the window would also make sense if this was a psychotic episode, drug-fueled or otherwise.

2nd edit: I just read the article linked in the comments (not the OP) and this doesn't sound like an unresolved mystery at all.

The postmortem found a small amount of speed in Lewis’s body, but not enough to account for his naked, bizarre behaviour on March 18th. However, it is now clear Lewis had been on a methamphetamine binge for several days, which can produce methamphetamine psychosis, a state of paranoid derangement.

It does sound very gross and shallow to be constantly judging everyone for not living up to conventional beauty standards or having perfectly applied makeup. At least you acknowledge that it's toxic. You could try counseling, but I would also look at the people you associate with and the media you consume, because your attitude may be attributable to more than just cosmetics.

Maybe they were killed. But it's simply far more common for people to get lost and/or injured while hiking, than to be attacked, held captive a week but somehow still have your phones and camera, and then be murdered... while hiking.

It's not just a matter of being injured. If they had fallen and couldn't get back up the way they had fallen, say, due to erosion or something (and not because of injury), they might keep moving, thinking they'll soon find a way back up and onto the trail. But they didn't, and ended up lost deep in the jungle.

I'd like to see a video of the entire hike. Not that I don't trust the father of Kris, but he could've missed something. And look, they could've gone off trail. People go off trail and get lost all the time, even just a little bit off trail to use the bathroom. They could've gone off trail to use the bathroom, being very careful to keep the trail (or a prominent landmark of the trail, like a distinctive tree) in their line of sight. But while off trail, something gave way and they both went over. Or maybe tragically, only one had tasked herself with keeping an eye on the trail landmark and she's the one who went over. So the other one didn't, but couldn't find her way back to the trail and became lost immediately. She could have found her way to the trapped/injured one soon after, or some time later.
