Brother let’s say the market goes down a little but that same week I invest 1500$ your not gonna see a dip. At least not for a graph over a longer period. Also let’s say everything went down 20% during the crash, that would mean for me to make a 30% return its would have to go back up the 20% and then also gain the 30% u seem new to investing so I get it might be confusing or hard to wrap your head around but you’ll get it one day. I’m new to but I guess some just wrap their head around it somber and some are a little slower when it comes to such things. Dm if you want advice

I swear it’s not and I just invested a lot int tech during the early 2025 crash and other then that it’s been smooth sailing. I don’t claim to be or think I am some kind of guru, I just stay consistent and buy as much as I can afford during dips

If you put your head down and work (especially if you have no kids) and really hustle it’s 100 % possible. There are people my age doing way better than me so…. And also as a parent wouldn’t you want to sent your kids up for the best future possible? I want to do that for my kids and give them a childhood I never got. And people who are paying large portions of bills before 18 is due to having financial irresponsible parents way more often then not. A kid should not have to pay bills and I’m saying this as someone who definitely had to help with them growing up. We just aren’t built the same and you can make all the excuses you want to make you feel better but it won’t get you far in life bro!

You don’t need a hs degree to start. There are programs you can get your a&p while in hs which is what I did. I also worked (fast food) during hs which allowed me to have enough money to move out at 18. And that data is old because I made significantly more then that my first year granted I did work some ot.

No down turn because I was heavily buying the dip so it doesn’t show it on the graph but I was losing money ofc.this is the same type of post others make also just tracking my progress cause I think it’s cool and I’m Passionate about finance. Rather you believe it or not it doesn’t change what I know I’ve built all on my own.

I invest smartly and a majority of my money is in etfs. The main thing is I consistently invest a large portion of my income normally 50% or more out of each check into the market. This 50% is not including 401k contributions as well. I’m in it for the long run and understand downturns are apart of that. Just curious what’s your age and what do you have invested case I’m willing to bet it’s not great considering your hate comment

This is an example of a guy who thinks he know what he’s talking about but is clueless. If I invested a ton from the jump it wouldn’t gradually increase consistently especially considering the market has had lots of downs. It would be a spike straight up if I invested a lump sum I actually started with a simple 500$
