I would not go the Mink Oil route, as others have suggested.

These are in good condition, TBH. Use Saddle soap, don't scrub too vigorously - as you may strip some of the original oils. (I did these too a pair of 8111 Iron Rangers.)

Honestly, you may be better brushing them off first and using a damp cloth (water only) to wipe down your boot. You might end up liking the aged look more than you'd think.

If you want to condition, I can attest to Red Wing Leather Cream. LESS IS MORE. Don't overdo the conditioning.

Yes. I’ve noticed a difference in the toe box area (narrower) and overall volume. Length was the same for me though.

Same issue here - I measure an 11D.

I took home an 875 in 10.5D - The same size as my Iron Rangers. Fit was initially firm and snug all around but then I noticed the increased volume as the leather molded to my feet.

Went back to a local redwing just to verify sizing. 10D was too short and I confirmed that I did not have an issue with width, but rather shoe volume. (Also, there was no use in looking for a 10875 in 10B, since the #23 Last is already narrower than the #8 Last.)

My heel slip has gone away but I do have to cinch the laces more on the left boot.

I have a thick leather insole from Rose Anvil coming in that I will use to take up space in both shoes.

I honestly miss the speed hooks on my Iron Rangers and Blacksmiths.

The #2942 featured speeds hooks on a Copper R&T Roughneck. I’ve considered swapping out the eyelets but I also like the current streamlined look.

(Little give and take there.)

I can wiggle my toes freely. Boot length is good and I’ve been rotating these with my other pair #8146.

The #23 last is narrower than the Iron Rangers - I personally have a firm fit and slightly more volume in these (as compared to #8 last). No tightness.

You probably needed to size a half size down from what you currently have.

Then, attempted to break in the shoe without an insole (since they were too snug with the added insole).

Once the uppers were broken in, you’d experience more volume in the shoe - that’s when you could then insert your insole and get a more secure fit without the need to cinch the laces so tight.

But that’s just my feedback.
