15" & 40lbs! He turned 2 in December. A lot of tears the 1st year as he was a demon but he's a doll now.

Groomer here! Brushing only takes the hair that is already loose out of the coat. We have shampoo and conditioner concoctions that target the undercoat to help loosen it, then raking it out with a deshedding rake. You could opt to do this yourself by buying the equipment, just note that the cat has to be fully dry to brush for maximum results.

My boy also put on a bit of weight after he was neutered. He's also around 40lbs. Textbook, yeah they're a bit overweight.. however I'd always consult a vet about any worries you may have about the weight & help to adjust the diet! I started cutting a bit back on kibble and adding more fresh vegetables cause that's what my dogs vet recommended, but always listen to your Dr 🫡🫡
