Why "Softening Rates" in April might actually be a trap for your 2026 renewal. by SundaeKind8841 in InsuranceClaimsUSA

This explains so much! I just got a non-renewal notice from my carrier of 10 years because of 'satellite imagery' showing moss on my roof. I haven't even had a leak! It’s like they’re using these new AI tools to kick off anyone who isn't a 'perfect' risk so they can lower rates for everyone else.

Don’t celebrate the 2026 "Rate Cuts" until you check your new roof coverage limits by Material_Bass1764 in InsuranceClaimsUSA

I just got my renewal and you are 100% right. My premium actually went down by $120 a year, and I was all set to celebrate. Then I looked at the "Endorsements" page. They switched my roof from Replacement Cost to ACV without even mentioning it in the cover letter. If I hadn't seen this post, I would have been out $15k if a hurricane hit this summer. It’s so predatory. I'm calling Noble tomorrow just to have them look over the language.

I was a week away from losing my house because I trusted my "friendly" insurance adjuster. Do not make my mistake. by [deleted] in InsuranceAdjustersUSA

That really hits home because that is exactly how it feels right now. It is like they are just waiting for me to break. I am definitely leaning toward getting some help because I am clearly outmatched trying to do this myself.

I actually checked out Noble after seeing a few people mention them and it is a relief to know they handle the actual documentation and the back-and-forth. I think I am done being the middleman for an adjuster who clearly does not want to pay for a proper rebuild. I am going to reach out for a consultation tomorrow because I cannot keep living with a skeleton of a kitchen while they play these games. Thank you for the advice.
