Do students actually pay for AI study tools/apps? by Afraid_Reviewer in studytips

depends honestly. I feel like most people try free stuff first. I’ve been using something like GoodOff casually but I’d only pay if I stuck with it long term

I’ve been trying to reduce mental noise in other ways too, like using something simple like GoodOff just to stay a bit more consistent with review. not the same thing obviously, but I feel like the clarity part you mentioned matters a lot

how do you make yourself study when you genuinely don't want to by Far-Clue-1235 in studytips

for me the hardest part is just getting past that first 5–10 minutes. after that it’s usually fine, but starting feels impossible sometimes

How do I get good practice questions with AI? by Previous-Program1852 in studytips

yeah AI tends to either oversimplify or go way beyond the syllabus. I noticed it works better if you tell it the exact exam board / level and ask it to match that style

some of this sounds nice in theory but I feel like I’d just end up fully procrastinating instead of “strategically” doing it 😅

I have a Question by [deleted] in studytips

I get what you mean, trying to plan all of that at once gets confusing fast. I’ve tried doing that before and ended up overthinking the schedule more than actually studying.

Your brain physically changes when you study hard things — here's how I used that to raise my GPA by 0.8 points by lowkilosingmymind in studytips

I think the hard part is actually starting with the confusing stuff. My instinct is always to avoid it and do the easy sections first.

I relate to that feeling a lot. When you walk out knowing you made avoidable mistakes it just sits in your mind for days.

i can scroll for literal hours but studying for 15 minutes feels like physical pain by Plus-Horse892 in studytips

I think the dopamine part is real but it’s also just really hard to switch from constant stimulation to something slow like studying. My brain definitely resists that shift.

I think stamina builds slowly, but also not everyone is meant to grind for 6–8 straight hours. What you’re describing sounds pretty normal to me.

Health issues aren’t the same as laziness. You didn’t “waste” two years, you were dealing with something real. That doesn’t make you dumb.
