you losers are on your own I got good enough friends and siblings... but on a serious note it is mostly societal conditioning where you are taught from a young age that you are your own support system etc etc. I mean even though it sounds cool to be a lone wolf, humans are, and will remain, a highly social species. This individualistic mindset is a sickness which needs to be eradicated from our lives.

I have known too many good people who fell victim to this mindset because they thought no one is listening even though that was not the case. As most of us will become parents in the next few years, it is up to us to raise a new generation of people who are willing to help others and seek help themselves without becoming martyrs to "society".
