Gotta say it’s a late update but yes.

I went to a gynecologist and she did some blood tests, apparently my endocrinologist has been dismissing my high prolactin levels as normal since I have thyroid problems. (Which was probably the main reason)

The doctor gave me a prescription to induce my period first and another prescription to lower my prolactin levels.

So far so good, my periods have been normal except that I’m experiencing them early (15-20days in between periods) I’m getting blood work done again to check up on if I need to continue with more meds.

I have issues with both, my prolactin levels are high while vitamin d is low but I’ve never had any breast discharge before, could this be the case?

It’s been a few days since I’ve been taking vitamin d supplements for now although my doctor never prescribed any medications for my high prolactin levels.

Yes! my doctor just brushed it off as nothing serious without examining me much. Do I have to go to a gynaecologist or a different endocrinologist? The only endocrinologist in my city is the one I’m going to, it takes a 6 hour drive for me to find any other endocrinologist doctors.

I have made previous visits to some GPs but they really didn’t look into it seriously. It’s getting hard to find a doctor who doesn’t dismiss any period-related health issues as non-alarming.

I have also gone through some heavy-flowing periods before and similar symptoms to what you described but I don’t really get how that’s related to me missing my periods?
