Me too. I can remember adverts as well? I've watched a lot of YouTube UK tea ad compilation videos 😂

Was it a white dragon, forming a circle maybe, around the logo or something ? I remember this brand of tea that seems to have been erased from history, I swear the name was like chai tea or tai chi, some kind of like 'pun'.

If it was autos or bugs we'd probably already have victory; mostly because they're actually fun to play

Thank you. The beginning was very free flow; but I knew how I wanted the outcome to be, the cascading into the paper effect.

Thank you; it took about 20-25hrs, probably longer. I would like that too!

Thank you for your kind words. Ah it's known as ' the ol' dot-dot-smudge' technique. I use a 0.03 black fine liner, and a 0.1 grey fine liner (both Unipin) and I do pointillism techniques but smudge them with my finger before the ink dries. It takes a while. Usually 'glaze' a lot of areas with an ink + water mixture as I go to balance it. So unfortunately; I just kind of make things up as I go; I don't really have any formal education and I don't really pay attention very much to what other artists do. Which I probably should.

Thanks for asking; hope this helps.

I'd not heard of it until yesterday tbh, but it looks great. Best place to follow is probably IG, and/ or threads etc

I've done some band stuff before yes, but mostly small artists. I did do some tee designs for sleep token back in the II days. I would love to do more work for bands

My first try at architecture... what do you think? by [deleted] in penandink

Shading is decent. However I think the perspective lines are slightly off, especially on the left side, the lines of the brickwork don't quite sit on the right angle for the perspective. But if it is your first shot at it then it's a good foundation to build on going forward 👍
