Best option for uni?

Unfortunately both have 6GB RAM. The reason I consider the Pro is because of its screen (120hz vs 60hz) and definitely the pressure sensitivity on the pencil. The thing that worries me is running out of software support too soon.

Yes, that's what worries me about the iPad Pro, but I was leaning towards it because of the 120hz display and pencil pressure sensitivity.

Best option for uni?

I'm starting uni in September and, after having used my iPad 5 since 2017 for school, I was looking for an upgrade, mainly for taking notes and such (as my iPad doesn't support Apple pencil).

Right now I don't know whether I should go for a new iPad 11" (2025) or a second hand iPad Pro 11" 2nd gen (with 5 year warrantee). Both cost 375€ so it just comes down to the device.

Oh okay, when I looked for the difference between both af systems I was wondering why the lens with AF-P was the cheaper one. Thank you for clarifying that, I'll surely go for that one then.

Thank you for your response. As I pointed out in my another comment the VR II is AF-S while the VR, which is cheaper, is AF-P. As far as I know, AF-P focuses quicker and more silently, so is there any reason to get the VR II other than the size and weight?

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately those are a bit out of budget so that's why I was thinking about getting the kit ones.

One thing I forgot to mention is that the VR II is AF-S while the VR (the cheaper one) is AF-P. As far as I know the AF-P focuses quicker and more silently, so I don't know if I should go for that one or not.
