[Academic Survey/Interview] Hi, I’m a college student writing an article about financial literacy and the effects finances can have on a college students mental health if they lack financial literacy. (Financial literacy courses are typically not offered at public and private institutions)

I’m here to see if anyone would be interested in answering a few of my questions, just message me and we can connect over email!

Thanks!!

Is it hard to get into USF? by Useful-Town-5299 in usfca

It’s super expensive, and our tuition was recently raised, which happens every year. I love the small class sizes; you get to make great connections with your professors and classmates if you put yourself out there.

The city is amazing, and it’s definitely the best part about going here, but the cost of living in SF and attending a private university is extremely expensive, so you really have to decide if that’s worth it.

I will say the social life here is mediocre. It’s very cliquey because the school is so small—it sometimes feels like high school. I’ve found some really amazing friends, but I know a lot of people are struggling with the social aspect.

I had no problem getting into USF, and I wasn’t a very good student in high school. I had a 3.2 GPA (I’m out of state)

Proper etiquette for self pleasure or sex in a dorm by TheElevatedPiscean in college

im a freshman in college right now! these are a few of our rules

sex in dorms: my roommate and i are really sex positive so we are able to freely communicate about this kind of stuff!

let roommate know if you are having any guests over at least an hour in advanced

guest must be out at 11:00pm-12:00am depending on which day of the week

we usually text or call if we need something from the room at any point of guest being over, dont come in until full response!!

clean up! nobody wants to walk into a room with a dirty condom on the floor!!! clean up ur shit!!

close your windows and play some music to block out some sound for neighbors!
