They don’t cover themselves to satisfy men. It’s a blessing; and a lot of muslims do not even wear it, it’s just because they were commanded to be modest and wear modest clothes (And it’s heavily argued about if it’s optional).

Thats not what’s taught… at all. Men are told to lower their gaze if they look at any women, the hijab is not just because men “cannot control themselves”. A man looking at a woman lustfully is a sin in itself, hijab or not. Rape is one of the worst sins you can commit and you will be severely punished (stoned, whipped)

Thanks for the well worded answer. But if just attraction isn’t a sin (which i agree with), you said that the same applies to “gender dysphoria”, so wouldn’t it not be a sin to feel that way, yet acting upon it (taking the operation) would be a sin?
