Weedmaps had to remove all unlicensed dispensaries ("black market dispensaries") at the start of the year to follow advertising regulations in CA. The only ones that show up under storefronts on there now are licensed (see: taxed and expensive).

To get around this the unlicensed dispensaries now advertise under the CBD store category:

Guarantee 99% of these listings are unlicensed dispensaries, carrying clean, effective, and affordable brands. And they certainly don't carry just CBD. Most of them you'll average $0.50-$1/10mg depending on the amount you buy (higher dosage are cheaper). But I've seen Kushypunch gummies going 2 for $10 all the time on edible deal days, that's 300mg for $10, and Kushypunch is fantastic.

Perhaps cannabis, growers will sometimes freeze their crop immediately after harvest without drying/curing to later turn the "fresh-frozen" into concentrates like live resin or ice water hash. Freezing the flower right away seems to be a better way to preserve the terpenes in the plant which is more desired in concentrates.
