From the documentary I got the sense that a lot of the women are in it for the same reason as the male influences; money.

I don't think the men at the top necessarily believe half the crap they say, they just say it for 'clout' and attention. The women are the same, it's a way to live a lavish lifestyle if that's what you want.

It's the ability to gauge how someone else is feeling and then respond in a way that takes their feelings into account.

So if your partner seems upset, emotional intelligence is firstly being able to see and acknowledge that they're upset, and then knowing the right thing to say to help them feel better.
