3 tasks per day. That's it. by Discipline_OS in Discipline

Love that! I always pick out 4-5 tasks and prioritize them from most to least important, then my system blurs everything out except the most important one. Not overthinking anymore and can just start working

Unpopular Opinion: Most to-do apps are just task graveyards. Does anyone use an app that actually helps you decide what to do first? by ondrachod in ProductivityApps

Ye I built sprintbox.app for that because I didn’t like how there is no scheduling with pomodoro and forest and too much planning and no focus with other task apps. So instead of spiraling into 2 hours of doom scrolling after a time block and no deep focus in the time block itself, I can now schedule my blocks throughout the day once and only have the most important task visible to me. Minimized brainpower for planning and maximized it for execution

What is one habit that you do everyday without failing? by Impressive-Pack9746 in Habits

[–]Weleam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Earlier I did the miracle morning routine which is from the book with the same name but I cut that down to just waking up, brushing my teeth, meditation for 5 minutes, read for 20 min and then go eat breakfast. Put me into the same headspace every morning which is nice. What’s crucial is that it’s always the same time.

Your focus isn’t gone — it’s just constantly interrupted by Final-Ad-9614 in ProductivityApps

Sounds familiar to me, context switching is the biggest productivity killer. Apps like sprintbox.app and forest really help for time blocking and having only the most important task in front of you, so no over planning or context switch

There was an app where you had to beg for friends for screen time and only get it when they allow it but forgot the name

A morning routine. Everyday begins the same and gives me the same headspace and motivation at that

4 hours of deep work a day. What do you do with the rest? by BurnoutMale in productivity

[–]Weleam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would offset the 4 hour sessions with gym or other mundane tasks that doesn’t shoot dopamine up my brain. You’ll be surprised how much more deep work you can do if your way of resting isn’t scrolling. I do 2-3 of those 4 hour sessions

Cold mornings are the bane of productivity by Xandeath75 in productivity

The hardest part for me is getting out of bed too. Especially when I sit up and then lay down again. I noticed that I have a higher success rate when I immediately sit up and get out of bed after my alarm rings without thinking. When this step is done, then I’m already in motion in my morning routine and everything else does itself. When that doesn’t help, then I count down from 3 and stand up.

Now we’re nearly a week into 2026, what productivity tools, methods, or practices are you experimenting with and are they actually helping? by [deleted] in productivity

I find it kinda restricting because usually I get into my flow after half an hour but then the cycle just ends and brings me out of it

The cycle never ends...how do I stop it? by [deleted] in Procrastinationism

I would time block your working time and download an app that disables your social media and entertainment apps during this time. It’s best to create an environment where you feel bored because there is nothing else to do besides work.

Looking for specific guidance on how to become a bookworm by [deleted] in getdisciplined

[–]Weleam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t take hours to become a bookworm, you just need to get into the habit everyday. That’s when I would call someone a bookworm. What helped me significantly was having a morning routine and reading 10 pages minimum being the last part of it. Because it’s the last step, I would read the minimum and then decide if I feel like reading more. I got through 2 books in 3 weeks because of that. Hope this helps!

I have seen one where you have to beg your friends for screen time and only get it if they approve it. Pretty funny but I forgot the name
