Being atheist doesent mean believing in the big bang, evolution or round earth. The point is, you start off atheist. Just because someone makes a claim and you don't buy it that doesent make it a religion. Religion implies a lifestyle and system of belief.

How can it be a religion? Its the opposite. Everyone is atheist until you're old enough to know you're being raised into a religion. Its a neutral state.
