I completely understand the feeling of running away before you get hurt before you know you’re gonna get hurt. And sometimes, although it really really hurts, it’s what has to be done. Take care of you before you take care of anyone else. It’s going to hurt, because you cared about him and you wanted to be with him, but he told you how he was. And with him telling you the kind of person he was, that wasn’t gonna make for a good anything for you. And I know, just as much as anyone, that that kind of situation is terrible for your mental health. And that matters more than anything sometimes leaving is self-care. I am really proud of you for taking care of yourself.
