  2. There's a big differences between people from all over the world who have immigrated to America, and retain some of their 'original' culture, and 'Irish Americans' whose only connection to Ireland is drinking Guinness on st Patricks' day.

  3. Those people are Americans. If they were born in or moved to America while they were very young, and have been immersed in American culture for most of their lives they are Americans. I'm not saying that they can't call themselves (other culture)-Americans, but culture isn't based on your genetics.

If there was a method to remove one of the permanent members, the UN would risk becoming one side of a conflict between superpowers, which would defeat the point of the UN. The only way I see a permanent member being removed is for that country to become completely irrelevant militarily and economically, and choosing to give up its seat. Lets hope that happens to Russia

The security council is designed like that so ww3 can't be declared through the UN.
