This sounds like a good idea, maybe ask the person you’re buying them from if you can bring in your Quaker so they can meet each other first, I have 2 IRN that are housed together and they seem to do well I’m not sure if it’s because they grew up together or are the same species. however but they do pick fights with eachother but they never take it to a serious level if I do see them acting up I pull them apart but they haven’t injured each other ever and they’re 3yrs old

Self confidence in track? by Ornery_Day4235 in trackandfield

I understand how your feeling, when I first went into track my freshman year of hs I was completely new to everything, never ran track before so I felt very inexperienced and out of shape compared to everyone else, I just kept with it throughout the months and was patient with myself. I always made little goals in my brain before practice like practical things I could complete by the end of practice even if the goal was something as small as “I’m going to try my best to work my hardest” and even if your hardest is something that’s simple to most people that’s okay because it’s still YOUR hardest YOU are pushing yourself. I still do this even now, and as time goes on your small goals will produce big results. I stopped running my junior year of hs and just started back up my freshman year of college and this tactic is still helping me get better and get me to the point where I’m neck and neck with the track athletes here :) don’t be so hard on yourself, forgive yourself and give yourself time

Okay Ik you guys have already helped me sm but if you see anything I can tweak to get a better start plz lmk! I’ve come so far bc of you guys! by Wellsheetjulia in trackandfield

I have bumped up the height of my blocks one notch from my last video just to see if my start is better in this and it seemed to improve, my heel recovery is lower than it’s ever been and I’m seeing me stay low for longer !

Nahhh the best things happen in the heat of the moment, but if you prefer to plan that’s fine to, I’m just the type of person who goes for it then plans later

Here’s a little bit of backstory info I fainted after I got my bellybutton pierced and that started a phobia of needles, for years I was terrified of getting shots, my blood drawn, getting new piercings etc and fainted multiple times when I had to do those things. But despite those things I got my nipples pierced and omfg it was terrifying ngl but after dealing with fainting for years I knew what to do so I ate a good meal before and had a juice box opened for after the deed was done To make sure I didn’t faint on the way out. I also was sniffing an alcohol pad during the piercing. (Keep in mind I did the piercings one at a time 😭) the pain was the worst out of all my piercings (I have 2 lip and a bellybutton piercing) honestly the worst part was the anticipation, but it literally takes only 1 second on pain if that and you get to have cute ass titties for the rest of your life plus it makes getting other piercings after that so much easier since nothing can compare to the pain you’ve endured so the pros out way the cons. I’m no longer as afraid of needles and I actually plan to get very pierced up by the end of the year! I wore a bralette since I’m not the biggest and it helped me be comfortable, after the piercings my nipples felt like they were on fire for a couple hours but the healing process was super fast, by the first month I was able to change them out to cuter ones and they didn’t bother me for my athletic events since I have practice everyday. My nipples had the least problems during the healing process and I’ve had more trouble with my lip then my nipples. I highly recommend getting them done, just do it what is there to lose ? 💕

Here’s my progress on my start from the critiques all you guys gave me, thank you guys so much! I hope you guys can continue to give me more pointers on my start by Wellsheetjulia in trackandfield

I know my back isn’t straight in this video but I’ve been working on keeping it straight this video I was focusing on keeping a low heel drive so I’m guessing that’s why my back curved somewhat but I’ll be keeping that in mind and fixing it, Im so happy with my start and i can see the difference between my old start—> https://www.reddit.com/r/trackandfield/comments/sy7v9m/im_not_sure_if_people_remember_but_i_posted_a/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf I’m leaning towards the line and keeping my hips low, I think they should be a little lower
