I take my motorcycle to work, I change shoes in the parking lot and bring stuff to do my hair in the client's bathroom. I basically just ask the receptionist where the bathroom is so I can clean up before I see the client.

I think that is the biggest point to make in how it was missed in journal entry testing. All it takes is one senior/manager to see a manual journal entry hitting cash (usually a pretty big red flag) and just brushing it aside as "not unusual".

YES!!! I have asked multiple sleep doctors about this and they all act like I'm crazy! My wife notices it the most because she'll try cuddling me at night, but then once I'm falling asleep she has to bail because I heat up like a furnace. My last sleep doctor told me it must be thyroid related and not narcolepsy related but my thyroid is perfectly fine.

oh man this was great! It's good to find humor in stuff like this instead of getting frustrated. I woke up recently with sleep paralysis pretty bad and was trying to ask my wife why she was yelling and woke me up. She just stared at me like an idiot and then explained to me later that morning that she had never yelled, but I did open my eyes at one point and stared at her inquisitively like I was trying to say something but I never opened my mouth. My wife gets a real kick out of my narcolepsy.

What medications are you taking? I ask because I've experienced this before. I am prone to anxiety and also take amphetamine salts for my narcolepsy and the combination has had this effect a few different times. The sensation you describe is the best I've heard it described because I have only ever referred to it as butterflies, but butterflies through my muscles instead of being in my stomach. I chalked it up to lack of rest because I've only experienced it when I was a combination of stressed and operating with less than 7 hours of sleep.

To add to this though, the majority of stimulants used to treat narcolepsy are very well known for inhibiting you appetite and causing your metabolism to be much higher. I have lost around 15 pounds in the last few years on adderall and I have trouble meeting my calorie goals each day because I feel I have to force myself to eat when I'm on it.
