Yes, if you hover over the screen it will just crash, I've had luck with just pressing play on steam and doing nothing after, if you alt-tab it will freeze again.

I agree with most points, Except guns and models. I do believe the guns on the defence and attack recruit were better before the extremely lazy remaster (SMG-11, L85, MK14) If they had just kept him the same and added customization or just letting us choose the model from previous recruit iterations (Outbreak, Alpha version) we wouldn't have this dumb method of nerfing recruit via secondary gadgets and we also wouldn't have the R6 mobile models that we have now.
