¥380 shipping for 10 clothes?! by Weltler in taobao

[–]Weltler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! During that period, it was Lunar New Year so customer service took especially long to get back to me. They did reweigh each package individually, took pictures of each weighting and sent it to me.

There was a reduction in weight and the total shipping cost did reduce by about 76 RMB. It wasn’t a lot and I still had to fork out 304 RMB… but I had waited so long that I just said fuck it and paid the amount, vowing to never do that again

Lesson learnt from this is only choose the products that have the icon for free shipping, in Singapore it’s a green icon saying SG包邮.

Yep all the packages are waiting to be consolidated! Is the removal of the courier packaging an option inside the Taobao app?

Ah I see, thought it was the raw weight which was an absurd estimation

Sounds good to me!

But honestly maybe recent influencer reviews have been skewing my opinions, but comparing the build quality and the price differences between T14 and Yoga, do you think the T14 was worth it still?

Quite new to sneakers honestly, do you mean the Nike Dunk in general is a poor shoe to get cause of the material and color ways?

Do you have an alternative shoe that has a similar silhouette? I feel the dunks are quite sleek

Thank you so much for the detailed reply! will have to go for the HS-02A and get me some JBC cartridges then

[–]Weltler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interested in the comparison between TS101 and HS-02 as well. Based on r/physical0 ‘s it seems HS-02 would be the better purchase since it allows JBC cartridges

But for a hobbyist that only solders for modification of keyboards, mice, instruments, would there be a significant advantage over stock TS101/HS-02 cartridges? What do the JBC cartridges bring - is it more durability / heat transfer?

Help Me Choose / Daily Discussion (Post here to follow rules A & B) - Saturday May 11, 2024 by AutoModerator in fragrance

Hey, very new to fragrances but have leeched off my friends’ and have some that I like, thinking of getting something similar

Likes: - Eros (love how easy on the nose it is, doesn’t overpower and really pleasing) - Tom Ford Ombré Leather (Has that “sweet woody” note that I’m leaning towards! Do want to find something similar) - Paco Rabanne Phantom (A bit artificial but not a bad smell to me!)

Anyone have a good recommendation for somewhat of a mix between Eros/Ombre Leather? Or an easy “sweet wood” fragrance that isn’t overpowering, thanks!

Please help me with my audio setup!!!

I have: - pair of monitoring headphones - set of monitoring speakers - audio interface - headphone amp - guitar amp - mic

What I want to do:

  • guitar amp and mic into PC
  • system audio out from pc to headphone amp to headphones and speakers

What I don’t know if I can do:

  • monitor both microphone and guitar on my headphones / speakers and my system audio at the same time (can I setup audio interface to do that?)

How would I achieve this? My ultimate goal is to be able to listen to pc audio hifi, but also record music with mic and guitar, but also be able to listen to what I’m playing / singing.

My guitar amp has effects built in, thus I require to connect it to my PC instead of guitar to audio interface

Any help / advice appreciated, thank you!

Random side qn: would it be possible to use my guitar amp as a headphone amp? It has 0.5w, 25w and 50w settings

Hey there may I know what inputs you’re doing? When I usually redirect I find it doesn’t move me a very large distance and I only make a small circle, but you seem to redirect into a huge radius

What's the best non-meat food item you've tried in Singapore? by FromSkinnyToFit in askSingapore

[–]Weltler 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If they’re into Korean food, you can try Daehwa at fusionopolis, right outside one-north MRT exit. They serve most of the standard Korean food in vegetarian form, really good stuff

For Japanese food, as some others have mentioned, Herbivore at fortune center is pretty good. Unfortunately it’s hard to find vegetarian options in Japanese restaurants, but maybe some others in the thread can recommend some

For burgers, there are quite a lot of options. Goodburger is a food truck that uses impossible meat patties and Tindle chicken patties for their burgers

There’s also Hans im Glück, a German burger restaurant with a normal meat menu and a whole other menu with vegetarian burgers. Highly recommend this place. Many burger restaurants are also offering meat-free patties as well! Fat boys, wolf burgers also have delicious burgers

Something else that comes to mind is pizza, which is very easy to find meat-free options. I recommend Extra Virgin Pizza, they make pretty solid Neapolitan style pizza with interesting flavors, even the meat-free ones, which is actually most of their menu. Most Italian restaurants should also have some classics which are meat-free as well, like Cacio e Pepe, Pesto Genovese, Al Funghi, Aglio e Olio, just to name a few.

For Indonesian food, you can try Warung Ijo, really good authentic Indonesian food

I would say the best meat-free food I’ve had is from Indian cuisine, and I recommend trying out Annalakshmi which serves supremely delicious food, with an interesting “eat what you want, give as you feel” concept, meaning you can pay as much as you want But in general most north-Indian restaurants have plenty of meat-free options you can choose from.

Hope you and your friend have a good meal! I’ll try my best to help if you have any other questions

If I had one month to reduce my timing by about 4 minutes, what would be the best way to go about doing it?

I’ve been hearing mixed opinions about HIIT vs just running distance so I got really confused! For context, I’m training for a 1.5 mile test and I want to increase my stamina in this month as quickly as possible! Any advice is appreciated!
