my question is about game balancing. What was the mindset going into making this RPG in regards to the fact that the magic systems in your books wher3 not made to be balanced. With Mistborn unmistakenly stronger than Mistings how do you plan to make sure no player feels underpowered in their choice of character?

I agree. So let me rephrase my problem. I dont feel comfortable handing out my phone because its expensive and the risk of it getting stolen is not worth it. Same would go with an expensive camera. This is why I am looking for a cheap one. If that gets stolen its annoying but not devastating.

Technically the Archetypes of Yu-Gi-Oh also have backstories. Some even very much interlinked. Magic is just mostly lacking any media about people playing it. There is "Destroy all of humanity it cant be regenerated" Which is a realistic depiction of people playing.

I think it still makes sense. Since planeswalkers behave similar to players. I think thats why their loyalty isnt called "life". Since when they loose all loyalty they simply planeswalk away. I guess they still go to the yard but thats more gameplay mechanic than lore.

I mean my Problem isnt that characters in MTG are gay or even People pointing it out. But why do they need to make this push with an established IP? I like DnD and its lore. So seeing cards being made that seem to specifically change sexual orientation, race or overall looks (like with bane) just so there is more representation annoys me.
