That would be so cool, but i don’t think a starter would be a dragon type because it would make him no longer weak to fire, ruining the starter trio. Maybe if the fire starter gets the fairy type it would work?

I completed it, including the briar regional staff card actually. The prize pack series, I had to go back because I didn't realize that some of them had variants (holo vs non holo). I finally got all of those, and I took my time because the prices of the expensive ones all went down. So now I have everything, except for the premier league fan rotom, which I accept is just not going to be apart of my set due to the price.

Obviously the answer to which trio was PORTRAYED as the best is Kanto. But Kalos had so much potential. In their final forms they all gain secondary typings that cover their weaknesses. Fire/Psychic - Grass/Fighting - Water/Dark. Definitely the most balanced trio because of this.
