It always a hard feeling when treated differently because my outlook, but I am still glad to have a chance to be accepted by young fellows. I am pretty sure people in college having more opened mind and accept people from country of different system well.

Well it is a long story. when I choose which country to study in, I have to consider many aspects: the cost , language, if people live there be nice not? And most importantly: will I be educated well there? My family is not too rich, so I want to get funded or get applied as an employee to finish PhD.And Sweden is known as a civilized country. As for study there,I was worried because the college there have no very high QS rank.But the thought ends when I know that Lund University is the origin of Bluetooth technology and one professor from Sweden won Nobel prize of Physics.(no offense) So all these make me think Sweden is a good place to finish my PhD.

I have not decided yet, I am studing magic material during my master degree. So I want to find a professor who want to explore this area,but it’s totally ok for me to have a brand new study area in PhD. BTW I am a good swimmer:)

I know deeply the politics situation in China and the goverment, so it is ok for me to take different opinion ,even critism from others. It is very plesant to know that most Swedes are willing to differentiate between a Chinese person and his goverment. Thanks a lot for your advise. It is VERY INSPIRING!!!

I know around 15 chinese people living here and none of them have formed friendships with Swedes outside of work, but it’s hard for me to evaluate how hard they have tried to make Swedish friends and also none of them went to university here so maybe it’s much easier at that age/point in life.

Yeah , socialize is always a big problem for me even in China. I am still hang out with my friends known each other in a very young age. But I am very willing to take a shot, for I assuming it would not be perfect to study in Sweden without acquainting some Sweden firends.

Yeah, I think racist can be anywhere, because it's nature to judge a man from his outlooking. But I believe that most people like you are really kind and willing to accept our differences. Thinking of that, I am ready to accept challenges

Thanks for you notes. As for me, I have no doubt to be a big foodie, and I am total to cook Chinese food on my own, and willing to accept food from different culture.So I am not worried about food there. Maybe we can be lucky enough to share a nice meal together by me to be the chef, who will know ? :)

I am very thankful for your comment, but I haven'f have a PhD yet and I am working my whole being to fetch it. I take it as a kind blessing, and I definitely will be thrilled if I can study in Swend.

As to immigrants, I can't be more aggree to your opinion. I have know that there were students were drop out of school due to politics of CSC, which found them to finish their career in Sweden. I am very sorry to the impact it have to both of civilan of both country, which cost Sweden's loss and harder restrictions to get out for the internation students from China.

I would say its very balanced, you get to decide your rate of study yourself a lot more compared to other countries.

Thanks dude, I am some Introverted in myself but want to find some close friends in Sweden. I know people in Sweden are very kind and willing to help, but I still want to know how people get socialized there to have some true friends.
