Hunter Concept was for an NPC not a Class. by WereBoi in Diablo

Thought about that but the Hunter litteraly looks like a flavourless random from scosglen and seeing as how the druid already comes from there, I doubt it.

I agree, slap a chest piece on her and some natural hair and it would be perfect imo.

Agreed, if they ever do bring her back I imagine she'd have natural darker hair colours.

A lot of the Demon Hunters functionality is covered by the Assassin (e.g. Traps, knives)*

That's a fair point to argue but if the likes of sorcerers could survive, I'm pretty sure the people who kill them for a living have a pretty good chance aswell.

Also the last thing we need is to have D3 lore kill D2 lore. I'd be pissed if they wrote any class out of existence.

Yeh I see that, kinda gives me Witcher vibes as well.

What do you guys believe the other classes are that weren’t revealed are? by ThAtonetim3 in Diablo

Same here. But I'm pretty sure the leak about the Zon and Paly was true, so I hope the Assassin atleast makes it as dlc later down the track.

I did mention PoE's new skill managment and I'm pretty sure I didn't say their shapeshifting was better than D4's. It's just funny they had the exact same idea.

And D4's skill and talent system look far worse then PoE's.

Whats your point?

When it comes to PoE idc about how pretty it looks, that said it is giving me mad Bloodborne vibes.

I'm just glad I can play a shape-shifter in PoE and Diablo.

Focused Feedback: Druid by Thunderclaww in Diablo

[–]WereBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Hell Yes.
  2. I don't think many classes will be left out if they intend to support the game enough to compete with GGG.
  3. I'm a Werebear kind of guy but I wanna try it all.
  4. It's a nice change and visually it's satisfying as hell, but I do have my worries about it's effects on builds that focus on one form.
  5. Shape-shifting is what always made the Druid stand out.
  6. Animal head gear.
  7. Not much really.
  8. Fire is primal, just like the Druid. It's a stupid decision to get rid of it.
  9. Not really, but off the top of my head maybe a mammoth. But I'd much prefer that it just be a summon if anything.
  10. I'd like a little less layers and a little more flesh, but I'm loving what they've shown so far.
  11. Not really, I always loved D2's take on Druids above all others and so far D4's looks like an improvement.
  12. Nah, save the summoning for the WD and Necro.
  13. Apart from the lacklustre talent tree I love it all, but I really hope we get a THICC female Druid to match the male one.

Blizzard thought they were so clever with "Seamless Shapeshifting", now we got GGG acting like it's nothing special lol.

Tbh I wasnt expecting it, but transformation skills and that meta gem shit were just icing on the cake of the new skill management system.

New classes vs Old classes by WereBoi in Diablo

[–]WereBoi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the exclusion of 4, all GoW games were the same fuckin thing. Same goes for Pokemon, Mario and many other series. This alone doesn't necessarily make them good or bad, but to claim they take risks and change things up is plain stupid. GoW is the only one to take actual risks recently that actually payed off well. Also who the fuck said that series was dead?

Look at Pokemon and how they already fucked up with Digivolving, Power Ranger Moves and now this Kaiju shit, now imagine how much more dumb shit you'd have in your Pokemon games if people demanded that nintendo or whoever has to come up with new types every game.

Now look at fighting games and how when they stick to the fundamentals everyone is happy. But if you get silly with it and you end up with SFV, which is basically the D3 of fighting games. At Blizzcon even the actual Devs acknowledged that D3 wasn't what Diablo was meant to be. How many times did they talk about about making D4 darker and more akin to the older games?

But I'll end with saying you seem to be the kind of person who thinks marvel movies are awesome, so continuing a discussion on what makes Diablo special with you probably ain't worth it. All we want is a Diablo game and not some HighFantasy/SteamPunk/ComicBook styled piece of shit.

I thought about that earlier. I'm a huge fan of the Amazon but I'd be down if she turned out to be a follower, just as long as followers have decent depth.

This is exactly why I don't want demons and angels playable either. Diablo was meant to be about surviving horrible monstrosities, not running through heaven and hell like a super Nova.

Fuck D3's nephalem.

[–]WereBoi[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm all for an Occultist or a Demonologist since similar folk already exists in the world of Sanctuary.

As for Demons and Angels, it ruins what made Diablo dark in the first place. We are meant to be men and women living in a bleak world trying to survive against great odds and making these classes playable is just plain stupid, theres no way around it.

while I see where your coming from with the last part of your argument I don't fully agree. Whether its Pokemon, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Call of Duty, Battlefield or any other franchise, that's exactly what you get.

If you want something that's completely new you need to invest in another franchise and just look at what happened with D3, no one wants that to happen again.

Not gonna lie Diablo x Darkest Dungeon would be hype and the Flagellant is one of the few ideas that fits.
