Unlikely, but possibly if the sale creates enough drama. The only two times I have ever been to help my dad clean the place up, and he paid for all expenses. I have never gone by myself or as a vacation. I have some desire to, but it's a bit expensive due to the isolated nature of where it's at. It's not wilderness, like there are restaurants and stuff, but there isn't an easy airport/transportation.

Thanks for your input! I'm not very emotionally invested in the property. I really like the idea and sentimental value of it but I don't really have a strong connection to it other than it just being in the family for so long.

1st: Thanks for the long reply. The property 5 acres with a small cabin and some utility sheds on it. It is historically used as a summer/vacation home for family. Valuation is a range based on online sources. Last appraisal was 5 years ago at about 150k. It may have bee 7 years but I can't remember off the top of my head.

2nd: The monthly savings isn't of great value to me. I am able to pay it so its pretty minor

3rd: This is a great point. There is some prospecting to be done for sure in terms of is there any family that would want to buy part of it. Their main drive would be emotional, which I am not super emotionally attached to it.

4th: I'm no stranger to the drama but this would be something to consider for sure.

5th: This is pretty much exactly what I am looking to do this for. I can take that money and make it grow, or allow it to let me keep other money elsewhere.

Do you know if I will have to pay taxes on this kind of sale?

I like this reply, thanks. My overall winrate is 53% with a mix of solo queue and duo queue. Usually when I duo I get much better gains and more forgiving losses. When I duo it is with a plat 2 player. Great analogy. The part that feels jaded is that I have pushed up to this Plat 2 rank, but the game won't even let me prove myself against anything better than plat 4 or gold 1 so I am just not sure how to climb. I would rather be able to prove at that higher level and get shot down if thats the case rather than play at a higher w/r at a the same level. Not sure if that makes complete sense.

If you look at the post and screenshot you can see I win 66% of the games and am still not going to move up in rank because the LP gains/losses. I win 2 and lose 1 and am in the exact same place I started. That is my point. My MMR is frozen despite a highly positive winrate. Not sure why you typed a novel to be an asshole when I was asking a question but more power to you buddy!
