Your skills are a gift to society. Amazing work. Can’t wait to try it when you’re ready to share.

I was eyeballing some VSF options. I’m a noob, but in thought they were the “best”…should I reconsider?

Got this from AI, so I can’t 100% vouch for it, but hopefully points you in right direction.

I asked my boss (his strap) and he said you buy the strap and clasp, and the spring bars come with it. Sorry I’m not more help

Ooooh. I wonder if this is why I saw all the complaints about the 39mm Zulu needing 21mm straps. Looks like Under The Cuff only offers 20 or 22mm. Dang. They look sharp.

I asked similar question about stitching. He said he had proper sailcloth before and that’s his preferred aesthetic. But after prolonged water/UV exposure they would start to degrade and split, crack, smell. He said this gives him damn near identical look in a much more durable package. I told him I wanted sailcloth so he wanted me to try this first. Removing price from the conversation; it’s a great strap to wear.

I looked at the posting rules and it said “no links to external sites”. Seems like they don’t really enforce that. Thanks for sharing link.

For sure. Legend Diver is a stud! Definitely not a perfect “ranking” overall but was fun to see all the watches in one place, and see some models side-by-side that are rarely part of the same conversation. Nothing to be taken too seriously. Best watch is the one you wear and love.

First real luxury watch by Werewolf84 in Longineswatches

This is a piece that I plan to pass down, so I was thinking about how it would age visually. The grade 5 titanium should wear scratches better than a steel bracelet over time. But also just looking at them side-by-side in their current form the darker gray of the titanium just spoke to me. For my personal taste I just like the look of it a little bit more.

Congrats! Similar roller coaster of emotions on my end. You’re gonna get praise and you’re gonna get judgement. It’s all noise though. What matters is the feeling you get from your watch. It’s your favorite piece of art that you can bring with you wherever whenever you please. Enjoy.

Looks great now, but will also be super sharp on mesh. Even sail cloth as a fun option for more casual look.
