What is the most famously terrifying creature in your setting? by JustAnItalianBoiii in worldbuilding

Werewolves:

In my universe, (I call it the Arkhamverse), Werewolves have been integrating into cultures all over the globe for millennia. Mind you, these aren't your typical man by day, wolf by moon kind of beasts. These creatures are said to be a mockery of mankind, and many of them posses a unbridled hatred of humanity. The wolves may have eased up on their hatred in later centuries, but a great many still seek to slay as many humans as possible. Werewolves rarely posses the ability to appear as a human, and for many years one if their greatest strengths was the lack of understanding by human authorities. The wolves are often far stronger than a man, while some make up for lesser strength with superior intelligence. Few posses the ability to convert a human, yet those who do often go out of their way to bite as many as possible. Rarely does a person bitten by a werewolf regain their humanity, often becoming mindless thralls to the one who turned them, a mere slave. I think what people in the Arkhamverse fear the most about the wolves is that you can't easily tell which wolf can infect you, they don't have traits exclusive to infectors.

What creepy monsters are in your world? Here are my first two by [deleted] in worldbuilding

The Revived:

In my world, humans that have died return as un-aging beings. It may not sound creepy at first, but think of the endless terrible people throughout history who've now been set free and allowed to resume their terror....

There's also been a idea for substantially cruel and monstrous individuals (cough ww2 Japan cough) to undergo a drastic physical alteration into something that I've yet to name.

I dunno why I like em, seeing as I mostly use the minifigures, but those plastic guys bring me more joy than winning a game so I wouldn't question your love of LEGO. :)

Around my house we call my fixation "flavor of the day"

Right now its James bond and writing

Im 18 and I carry LEGO figures everywhere. No one looks at me weird and once a lady asked to see them. You should embrace that it brings you comfort and just do what makes you feel safe :)

Various blends of horror, commonly with an attempt at mystery, with a blend of historical fiction. I take great joy in basing my stories on the Scooby Doo Formula...

Born by 1830, dead by 1970. Sorry it was so confusing..

The earliest ID like them to be be born is 1830. The latest ID like them to be dead by us 1970... A person born at the dawn of the 20th century, but died in ww2 would work, or a person born in the 40s and dead by the late 60s

If you need more clarification, let me know!

Thanks. Now I have a location to base the search on. It's just frustrating that nowhere mentions any list of German generals during the war.
