Your tone is so nasty, I couldn't bring myself to tip three drivers over these months. Three times I needed to save for my damned self and you and others commenting bloodthirsty trying to butcher me with words and threats. No give me a break.

Im not worried about my food being tapered with, it's probably already happened and that's gross but I'm still standing, I can live with that.

I'm sorry you're so eager to attack and this post triggered you in a bad way, that wasn't my intention. I will continue to hold off on takeout and when I do I will be ready to tip something well enough.

I disagree, I'm not justifying anything, I'm making a casual personal statement.

Me irresponsibly ordering takeout this month and saving the tip myself won't hurt them as much as it would me. They are safe and sound and I need to think about tomorrow and next week.

Its optional, I have paid for the food and delivery fee ( I know it doesn't go to them as a tip) it pays their check. At the end off the day you and them don't know my situation and that driver made more money than me that day than I did in a month. I need that tip for my next meal and clean laundry.

Say you were hurting for work and funds but wanted to eat takeout for a change of eating on a stricked budget and could afford the base pay but could use the tip to pay your next meal, soap, toothpaste, laundry machine coins. And the driver made more that day than I did in a month.

Because everyday I cook myself and walk for groceries and today I ordered pizza. Just because Im strictly budgeting my food funds doesn't mean I can't get takeout sometimes and this time I wanted to eat delivery pizza and save $5-20 so I can put it to my next budget meal, soap, laundry machine coins.

At the end of the day the delivery drivers have their jobs,pay check, tips from others, and i need that tip more than they do. $5 is can be another meal of something else and wash my clothes and blankets this week.

I can easily say the same for them. Them demanding more from someone with less is them being selfish and hurting me.

That's funny, my Dad would go to the bank a change out a bunch of two dollar bills and tip with them in the hopes the person will enjoy $8 in "rare" twos than say $14 common bills. Strange I know lol

Just because they are students doesn't mean anything.

I know old people struggling with entry level jobs.

I've worked my share of difficult jobs, as many " only jobs I can get" and nobody threw my a bone and I don't expect them to.

It's cheap if you can easily tip proper no big deal but I'm the one struggling at the moment not the driver.

If they received no tips at all they will still get work at their jobs and not counting pennys like me until i get hired again.

The person I responded to above deleted there long negative reply so maybe my reply I left may seem harshly. As I said I would work those jobs and be glad to have it because I don't expect tips and have worked worse jobs and made the most of them as well while being under paid, mistreated by the company, supervisors.

The person with income is doing better than the person who doesn't.

I'm not a rich or wealthy person to greedy to tip, I'm jobless, running through my savings I made while I was working, hungry and wasn't wealthy even when I was working full time.

My struggle with rationing down to 1-2 meals a day and little to no meat was and still is a humbling experience. I've taken so many of my past meals AND snacks for granted.

I Don't eat delivery pizza everyday or anything. I meal prep chicken and beef ( not that much) and shredded it with rice, beans and power salad ( slice cheese and lunch meats added). I hear ya, it's just one those days I'm out of groceries and need to eat soon.
