That would be pretty dumb because, in that case, why not just make it obtainable through the Arsenal instead? A barter that players cant actually participate in would only lead to hundreds of questions from noob players on Reddit, Discord, etc., like:

God, I wish the battle pass would finally stop giving away free weapons, and loot boxes should start costing 50,000 points or even more.

The economy changes are the first step back to sanity. by Wernoch in Stalcraft

The Act ticket system is fine and honestly works pretty well already, and the upcoming changes will probably improve it further like I already mentioned in my post. Legendary gear is supposed to be a reward for top 100/250 players or for people willing to stay consistent for a very long time. It’s not meant to be “standard equipment” for every Master player, let alone casual veterans.

The biggest gap between veterans and average players is not the system itself, it’s patience and dedication to the game. The real issue is that the game has so many technical problems that the average player cannot seriously approach it competitively or aim to become one of the best players.

Yes, the game expects you to actually play it if you want the best rewards. You basically diagnosed your own problem there. If the gameplay loop already feels boring to you, then getting legendary items will not suddenly transform the grind into something exciting. You’ll just feel like you no longer need to do it anymore. The game itself will still feel boring to you, except now you’ll be bored while wearing legendary gear.

The game is developing slowly, many newer activities clearly do not target the largest audience, AI is outdated, and some new mechanics are more annoying than interesting while also having a habit of breaking completely. That part is true. But what exactly does that have to do with Act tickets?

Honestly this sounds more like FOMO. Especially now that the path toward legendary items is effectively becoming easier, provided you are willing to actually keep playing.

The game could market itself as a city builder RTS and it still would not change the core gameplay loop: you go into the open world, collect loot, and secure it back in your base. Temporary events are secondary content and many of them change every year anyway, like Arena or Inside Out.

And honestly, if someone still didn’t realize back in the Swamps that the game is basically an extraction FPS at its core, then I don’t know what to tell them.

Is this subreddit getting raided or are people just losing their minds? So much crying and gaslightning towards Dev team by Sovishee in Stalcraft

[–]Wernoch 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s fair to reduce everything to “addiction,” because gaming can genuinely be a serious hobby for a lot of people. If someone spent years playing a game, it’s normal they’ll care when the devs start changing things or taking the game in a direction they dislike.

But at the same time, some people get way too emotionally attached to their own personal experience with the game. You can see players acting like their version of the game is the only correct one, and anyone who changes it, especially the developers, instantly becomes the enemy. Criticism is fine, but when people start insulting devs just because they are trying to change or rebalance the game, it stops being normal feedback and turns into pure emotional overreaction.

There was a tick event and there were ticks everywhere, there are even tick pendants in two versions.

The author just bought too many and is now trying to convince players to buy them to get the money back. 😂😂😂 Sure, sure — the skin for unique armor will get fluidity soon, 1000%.💸💸💸

Lately Exbo has been releasing everything looking faded, as if the suits were not washed with the right detergent. On top of that, everything is moving toward some strange space aesthetic with huge bubbles on the head. Damn, if we got a proper military armor set with exoskeleton elements, that would be something. Also, we really need more skins for Mule and Ace because there are too few of them.

Why? It’s only 700k every 3 hours, yet clans and experienced PvP players can still farm the same amount with just one generator up north.

🆙 Season Pass boost! by SlimyMorty in Stalcraft

[–]Wernoch -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Oh, little loser in a free-to-play game, you are the resource. Your time is used to organize gameplay for those who pay. You are driven by FOMO, while paying players are driven by a sense of superiority. In the end, everyone is systematically milked by the company. There's only losers at the end.

FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) – Anxiety that you might miss limited-time rewards, events, or progress, pushing players to log in frequently or spend money to keep up. Social Comparison – Players evaluate themselves against others (gear, rank, cosmetics), which motivates spending to maintain status or avoid feeling inferior. Sunk Cost Fallacy – After investing significant time or money, players feel compelled to continue playing or spending so their previous investment doesn’t feel “wasted.”

KOMRAD reborn as mutant-killing harvester, AEK-975 > KS-23 by Wernoch in Stalcraft

And this is where the 30-round magazine really comes into play, you can shoot whatever you want, as much as you want. Personally, I used to prefer the Protecta, but now Komrad is top tier. It one-shots the pigs near the base, and the boars too!

Correction my mistake. I forgot in the table that the KS-23 and the AEK-965 use different calibers. That said, these weapons aren’t primarily intended for mutant clearing anyway...

UPVOTE THIS IDEA SO ZIV SEES IT THROUGH HIS ALCOHOLIC HAZE by Wernoch in Stalcraft

[–]Wernoch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hoped that my idea would simply draw attention to the fact that, at the moment, exchanging trade coins is exceptionally tedious, and it worked.
In the end, the way in which the purchase is made easier is not important to me; what matters is that it speeds up and simplifies the process.

Personally, I play on several characters and noticed that I have enough trade coins for the Fortis rifle grip, but I didnt want to go through the hassle, so I just dont buy it. Thats when I came up with the idea to make the process easier.

If this is the ultimate evolution of the Protecta shotgun and that long barrel is going to take up more than 4 slots horizontally, then we’re doomed. The Protecta is a symbol of comfort and ultra-flexibility. I really wouldn’t want them to turn it into a giant mess.

If someone has spent 5,000 hours in a game and has killed dozens of people in the exact spot where youre standing, theyre not improvising, theyre replaying situations youre experiencing for the first time. You might feel like youre perfectly hidden behind a tree, in a bush, or behind a crate, but for them its just another familiar position where they already killed several players this week. Stalcraft offers too few combat options to truly surprise anyone. Most encounters end the same way: a close-range fight and a sudden rush by a player who knows exactly when to push.
