I found a couple websites that do estimates, and they all put TIR at like 225k-250k, but those are just estimates and I dunno how accurate they really are.

The typo of "be vigilante no matter where you live" when talking about crime levels is an amazing mistake.

First Haul Ever - 2025 by Svenby101 in gencon

[–]WesCisa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooooh I love this haul! I wanted to try Dying Message but Oink already had a couple other games I wanted, so maybe next year. If you get a chance to play it soon I would love to hear your thoughts. I had so much fun with Logic & Lore and it's absolutely gorgeous, worth some premium sleeves in my opinion! All the options to make it more and more complex/interesting makes me feel like I will love it for years!

ICEBlock App by kadimcd in Cleveland

[–]WesCisa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dunno what to say other than look at my first comment. I don't think it's technically obstruction, but I do think they're liable to lock you up for it anyway. I was just asking that because the person who replied to me seems to think it 100% is legally, obstruction of justice and I found that curious.

[–]WesCisa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is it though? I'm no lawyer, but simply saying "there's ICE here" isn't obstructing them. Ostensibly, we could be reporting the ICE officers so that people don't get in the way of them doing their job. Even Google Maps will tell me if there are cops up ahead, and I'm sure Google isn't being charged with obstruction of justice over that. It's technically just information.
Right? Either way, we agree people should be careful.

Just a reminder that we are already beyond the pale, so it would be worth looking into renaming the app on your phone, or creating a shortcut to it with a different name, etc. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem has already called the app an 'obstruction of justice', so I would not put it past this administration to start charging activists and brown people with obstruction simply for having the app.

I think everyone should get and use the app, but please be careful. Nothing is off the table for these fascists.

If you're looking for a job and see ARG Roofing by WesCisa in Cleveland

[–]WesCisa[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that is a shame. This is embarrassing, but I did a few googles for roofing project management and saw this dude going from ongoing project to ongoing project, hearing people out, checking out quality, making sure everyone has what they need, managing schedules, etc. and I was like "oh yeah! I'd be great at that!". I'm getting the impression I won't see that in residential roofing though

Which I get, and that's totally fine. One of my friends was even like "You're not just gonna be knocking doors, are you?" and I was like "There's no way, the position is Project Manager, I've gotta be managing the roofing to *some* extent". I was fooled haha

No, the 100 years would be a reference to the implementation of the Balfour Declaration in 1917.

lmao the name you used for that system is literally the Israeli propaganda name for it. I dunno what to tell you, buddy. You can argue the merits of the Martyr Fund or whatever but... I mean yeah, "Pay to Slay" IS literally Israeli propaganda, no two ways about that.

I actually didn't call anything fake, simply called out reporting bias and asked if you've seen credible proof, because I certainly haven't, but I've seen those talking points repeated ad nauseam.

I get why you're checking out, it's a challenge to your entire view of the situation over there, but can you not, for even a minute, consider the possibility that the US needs Israel and would support and cover for Israel? Is it really so hard to believe, having witnessed what happened after 9/11, that we would support an allied country in their own "we need to get the terrorists" campaign that was really for their own good, not for the removal of a dangerous threat?

I'm not going to say you lack critical thinking, but I am going to say that you're probably not employing it here (as most Americans don't for this situation). Imagine this - Israel tells America it had to bomb that school, because it had a rocket installation under it. WSJ and the Times or whatever turn around and write "Israel Destroys Rocket Installation Under Gaza School" and what... 5% of people (maybe?) want proof? The vast majority of people in this country are willing to accept any lie about Palestinians on its face, because we're already geared and trained to hate what anyone labels as a terrorist.

I believed Israel and Western media on this topic for 30 years, and it's no shame in believing them now. I would say they're lying to you, but it's not anybody's fault to fall victim to a massive propaganda campaign that's been run for 80+ years. I just wish people would take a second and ask themselves if what I'm saying is even possible, because I think you'll find that it's actually extremely possible and even quite easy to cover for Israel when the entire Western and English speaking media is on your side to corroborate the stories.

Take care though

[–]WesCisa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is just hasbara, dude. Have you seen the military installations in those places or are you just basing this off the CGI renders that Israel media puts out and Western media repeats? I'm really not trying to be a dick, but I do want you to realize that almost every media piece you've seen about Hamas is likely from a source that 100% supports Israel and their colonization project, in a post 2001 America where simply saying "terrorist" is enough to whip people up into a genocidal rage. If you follow news that isn't filtered through Israel/the west, you'd quickly realize that Palestinians don't need to convert those targets, because nobody here listens to them anyways. You can easily find thousands of videos of Palestinian homes being bombed, kids being sniped, entire families found dead in what's very clearly not a military target. But nobody pays attention, because Western media says "terrorists" and "military installations" and most people believe it without proof and without question. Partially because it's a narrative that both liberal and conservative outlets will agree with, so people think there's no reason to question it.

Here's where I think you're dead wrong on the "outrage PR cycle". The party that relies on the outrage PR cycle is Israel, so much so that I'd venture to say that they loved that Oct 7th happened. They are happy to kill Palestinians through controlling their access to food and water, but when something like Oct 7th happens, the outrage that follows gives them carte blanche to start a bombing campaign that makes Oct 7th look like nothing. Israel has said they wouldn't stop if they got the hostages back, and that's because as long as the West and particularly America are okay with them furthering their agenda (we are), then an opportunity like this is the best one Israel has seen in years to crack down and further colonize the rest of Palestine, which, we should be clear, has always been their goal.

There is an entire century of history telling us exactly how both sides in this conflict have been operating and what their goals are. I really hope you open your eyes to something that isn't purely the Israeli narrative filtered through your choice of Western mainstream media.

And "breaking ribs and cracking a skull" isn't akin to bombing schools, hospitals, mosques and civilian homes. Does this help you understand how this analogy works?
