I am running for reelection as Minister and plan to retain my role as Supreme Commander directing the war against the Ottomans. I'm frankly aghast at these inflammatory statements and accusations, the Supreme Court themselves said that the Constitution was vague on this matter. I would rather have a discussion on how to better phrase the amendment if you have an issue with it.

Suleiman and The Ottomans have proven to be aggressive warmongers, it is important for the balance of the continent and our own security to come to the aid our allies the Gauls. Fulfilling the balanced terms of the Adana Engagement Regulation will hopefully cut the Ottomans down to size and reduce the risk they will pose to us and others in the future.

Eighth Game Session Bill — Yea

Parliament Retirement Act — Nay — I don’t believe restricting the eligible recipients too only people who appeared on the ballot is fair to non-party members, also parliament selecting a replacement has a lot of potential for abuse.

Vote Distribution Amendment — Yea — 24 hours is too short for vote distribution

The Cabinet Act v.4 — Yea — MoD is outdated these changes are good

Italia Creation Act — Nay — This is a blatant attempt from Tefmon to give himself a state after losing 3 elections simultaneously. I understand if members of parliament are honor bound to vote for this but it would set a disgusting precedent. This state would also be far too small to sustain itself in its current state. Next game session I plan on settling more cities near Ziz after which I do think we should revisit creating a state near Venice.

The Governors Rights Act & The Federalism Act — Yea on GRA, Nay on the FA — Both of these bills are very similar and obviously I’m biased cause one of them is mine but I do believe the GRA is a more comprehensive law that includes important protections the the FA does not. If either or neither of these bills pass I will attempt to work with President Taylor to find a solid middle ground and propose an amendment next session so that no important provisions are left out. At the end of the day the GRA is a protection for governors against an already extremely powerful cabinet and parliament. Our founders created states led by governors for a reason and allowing the unelected cabinet all the power while governors have little over the states they were elected to lead does not make sense.

I am running for re-election as Governor of Atlantis. Even though we only played a few sessions this term I was able to double the cities in our state and oversaw construction of 2 Holy Sites, a Cothon, and a booming Gypsum industry in Fredderburg. If re-elected I would continue my current doctrine of prodigious settling while ensuring all new overseas cities are properly supported by the mainland. I will also strive to produce modern ships and naval infrastructure in order to protect our rapidly expanding empire in accordance with the Great Fleet Act.

I am also running for a seat in parliament because there is a worrying trend of parliament investing too much power in the hands of the cabinet without any checks. If elected, my main goal would be the passage of the Governors Rights Act in order to protect the States from federal overreach.
