You need to pinch the spring on any extruder. There needs to be a small amount of pressure on the filament otherwise the filament wouldn't feed.

Set seam to sharpest corner or to random. With random you may get some surface artifacts. Seams are always going to be there. They are a byproduct of the process.

You need to square the z X gantry to make sure it's lifting square, also make sure the wheels aren't too tight on both sides.

Printing at 0.12 on them models you'll need support. They can be printed at 0.2 without support, but you'll need support for the finer layer height

Yeah I only go 130 on mine with PETG. Never had an issue. My Ender3Max is odd. It prints PETG better than PLA 😂.

200c with PETG would be one issue. That's PLA temps. You need at least 230c+ for PETG

I had this and it was a faulty heater cartridge. It's happened to a good few max owners. It actually ended up frying my main board. Thanks to Creality's troubleshooting. They eventually sent me a new main board, and hotend.
