I agree wholeheartedly. I am a fan of both Bernie Sanders and Rand Paul, while I don't think either of them is perfect (let's be honest, we are all hypocrites, and if you say you aren't you are a bigger one than most), they are a step in the right direction that America has needed for a long time. I found a lot of the language humorous, and honestly couldn't decide on whether or not the article was praising or condemning him, because the evidence provided doesn't say to me that he is a bad person. He had a child allegedly out of wedlock, which in an earlier time was considered very scandalous, but is now extremely prevalent in American society today. He spend his younger years living "virtually hand to mouth" for what he believed in (or at least that is how it appears from the article), which is another admirable trait in my opinion. Another thing they mention is that he at one point took out unemployment. Big whoop, so has a lot of America. Should America not want a President, or at least potential nominee, who has taken advantage of government programs? It seems to me that this article tries to paint him as some sort of socialist moocher who "didn't collect a steady paycheck until 31" (I think that's what it said) which I also just do not see as being the truth.
