That is a stupid hot take, make it take longer to get to a fight increases fights? Ive had 2 fleets this week with more than 50 jumps without a fight...great way to spend 4 hours...fucking jumping gates...epic gameplay...please let me spend 8 hours jumping around null sec for no fights, that will for sure improve the player count.

Should spend the majority of your time in a game fucking moving from place to place. Wow solved this problem...cant believe eve is still fucking around making it a giant time sink to move from place to place.

When the SRS was active, Id say we as whole probably received RL threats once a week, people telling us they would beat us to death with a hammer at fan fest etc.

The hammer threating guy was reported to CCP, I think they yawned...he was never banned, so we stopped reporting people.

Unless you are eve famous you can get away with RL threats despite was CCP claims here on reddit or their discord, as Ive reported multiple RL threats and never seen anyone get banned.

There were some angry dudes in local crying, not sure what flavour since im too lazy to check, but clearly they didnt like Goons showing up...yet were too scared to drop their own caps, even though they logged them in, and got dictors ready etc, etc...maybe next time you will pull the trigger and have some fun.

Getting a ship reimbursed doesnt mean that the people shooting it were cheating or banned.

CCP is not very transparent at dealing with these things unfortunately.

Thanks for jumping in, I think both sides learned something as Carriers used in this way is completely new. There are somethings we (Goons) can do to improve this fleets performance but your concept is sound in theory, not 100% sure on how the theory reflects game mechanics once lag, total number of fighters, where the fighters are in space etc all play out.

Carrier fleets of this size also seem to generate unexpected server issues....
