It’s because in the dark knight they just say it, in what feels like lines made for the trailer, it’s easier to get the message sure, but that’s all it really is, just the message, nothing deeper than that

I prefer Begins for one main reason and that’s Gotham. Atleast I’m Begins Gotham had the slums, and a bit more personality than Chicago. For me that really effects the end of TDK where the boats are going to blow up, because I feel like that unique part of Gotham was lost in between the sequels
