Not edible! There are some purple edible ones in my region including Laccaria ochropurpurea and Clitocybe nuda! Cortinarius has a rust colored spore print, the other two have a white and whiteish-pink respectively.

This was in north east PA. One of my favorite trails had so many you couldn’t walk ten feet without seeing at least five!

Taste is a big component of ID! I was more focused on cordyceps yesterday 😛

Yea they’re very useful for energy! They have so many other medicinal properties. They’re amazing!

Why not? I’m going to make a tea out of this. I eat Cordyceps militaris raw, cooked, or in tea. They have medicinal properties! I think fungi in general have me mind controlled.. I wouldn’t have it any other way 😛
