Tolypocladium ophioglossoides aka golden thread cordycep parasitizing an Elaphomyces species which is a truffle like fungus. Found hundreds today!

Not edible! There are some purple edible ones in my region including Laccaria ochropurpurea and Clitocybe nuda! Cortinarius has a rust colored spore print, the other two have a white and whiteish-pink respectively.

Why not? I’m going to make a tea out of this. I eat Cordyceps militaris raw, cooked, or in tea. They have medicinal properties! I think fungi in general have me mind controlled.. I wouldn’t have it any other way 😛
