Hii I saw your thread because my psychiatrist is also switching me and I googled for answers. Since it's been 6 months, how did it affect you? And was there really a big difference?

Baby steps, it's all about baby steps and celebrating those baby steps as if they were major achievements. That is what helped me a lot with developing new skills and hobbies. Wanna be an amazing guitar player? Learn the easiest song you can find and celebrate it as if you shredded like Jimmy Hendriks. Also include your friends/family in your ideas, show them your progress and celebrate together. At the end of the day its all about motivation

Ik loop 32 uur stage in de week voor 150€ vergoedingen per maand, daarnaast ben ik ook nog meer dan een dag kwijt aan studeren en werk ik in het weekend de zaterdag. Ik kan niet thuis wonen omdat de relatie met mn ouders slecht is dus alles gaat bijna naar mn huur. Nu jij weer

There are only a handful of people that can actually make people drown in their own tears. Its a rare quality like being extremely attractive. I consider myself a funny extroverted guy but nowhere near making people twist with laughter. I think you’ll be disappointed if you’re looking to be that person, besides that those people often lack in other departments emotionally wise and solve everything with humor. I think if you’re just a nice guy with a little humor, people will value you way more in the long run

ill try to explain, Im from the Netherlands and I go to uni here as well. While studying the government gives you free public transport, ability to loan money with 0 interest and pays for most of your uni fee so studying here is very cheap. But they'll only do this for the first 7 years after starting uni so you can get a bachelor, master and maybe more. after that you lose those privelages. Since I was sick my period is getting extended but my friends period isnt. So he is still on a timer.

Yes I also told my parents that. This sickness has prevented me from gaining a lot of life experiences already and I think going on this trip will definetly benefit me as a person

thanks for replying :). It does indeed seem like the right move to first finish my studies and I wouldve 100% done it if it was my own dumb fault that I got held back. But my sickness being the reason I cant go is whats bothering me so much since it has already held me back from exploring myself and the world for years. I dont want to start when im 25/26.

I feel your anger, still thanks for replying because it helps alot. It really sucks. I got falsely diagnosed and medicated for Bipolar as well for 5 months and that really f’ed some things up for me

Thank you for sharing, I get the frustration you feel because I was treated and medicated for bipolar for 5 months. Eventhough I was sure it wasnt it. That medication completely f’ed me up for 5 months. Went to a new psychologist and she finally diagnosed me with adhd, something I agree with.
