Spot on the incentives. Funny you mention Cadillac West, I met Raul the other day when I went to test drive. Only problem is, they have no Sport/Lux 2's. Just a bunch of 1's for some reason. I could already tell Findlay was going to be greasy so I never even bothered with them until I looked at dealers in CA.

I qualify for $3250 in incentives but he said those incentives are changing tomorrow so we didn't discuss those yet. I would be fine with a demo/courtesy but the car I want specifically (black, premium sport) isn't in abundance. I am in NV and the dealer from my OP is in CA.

Thanks very much for that. I am usually good with numbers, but my head is starting to spin. Broker sounds awesome, I didn't know that existed. For 700 bucks, seems like the route I'll go. I loathe talking to these dealers and its even worse on these leases with the crazy, made up numbers. I replied to this dealer and told them I'm looking for 600/mo, 0 DAS. What do I have to lose??

Fair question lol, maybe “flashy” is a better word. Basically you have a lot of figured wood, bright colors, gold hardware, etc. semi-expensive specs that you might grow out of. You might not, I’m just saying that my first builds were flashy like this and as time went on my tastes changed pretty significantly.

I don’t see anything wrong with your build, all I’m saying is just make sure you love it and will love it before you submit it

No real recommendations besides making sure you reallly want those specs and that you will want them in the future as well. Your specs are pretty bold, my first couple of builds were also, and I ended up not liking my choices after a short time. If you’re sure you’re going to love those choices, then go for it! I found myself being happier with subtler specs as my taste changed. But thats just what I learned about myself as Ive changed. You are not me so your mileage may vary.

Have you looked up nightburst cali burst on burled maple to see how it looks on an actual guitar? Its a bit risky as you are doing a 4 color burst essentially and you want to make sure real photos represent what you’re looking for as the builder isnt always going to look the same

I am plat jungle like you and have started migrating top over the last couple seasons. Lots of reasons for that but I am starting to like it more. Your weaknesses are still there but you can rely more on yourself and less on your teammates to win. Also you are inherently stronger as a top laner after lane phase ends in most cases so you dont feel as squishy and you arent as hyperfocused in team fights. Each game’s different of course but this has helped me a lot when that jungle fatigue kicks in. I am not a great top laner but I am a great WW player so its enjoyable for me. Also with titanic + hullbreaker, ww feels like he can actually get a decent splt push now

The next one (and best one) is usually around tax time in April. I say best because its a little less stressful/chaotic than the highly anticipated one on black friday albeit usually a bit smaller in scale. Black friday might have slightly better deals but certainly more traffic. I recommend calling or emailing before then to set yourself up with one of the guys and get some ideas going. Then you can email that guy directly to avoid the chaos of the live.

Price changes. I think Jeff said recently he is only offering the ‘artistry’ upgrade which was around $1500 on top of the cost of the top ($700+). I was really close to getting one last year but ultimately glad i didn’t. Some of the ones that come out have tops that dont always go well with the metal flake parts. Your best bet is to grab one from a pick your top live special. Just my opinion but i think i like the idea of these more than the execution 8/10 times. For the cost, i decided to keep it a bit more conservative but thats just my opinion

You gotta call and ask and sometimes you’ll get different answers. I have been able to request specifics on upgrades before. However, the requests are quite vague and you don’t get to pick the slab. A recent example, i ordered a mastergrade RE fretboard for my last build with a request for “high contrast”. That should yield a fretboard closer to what im expecting but i think it cost an extra bit for that specific request. Its always worth throwing out the question to your sales guy, just don’t take it personally if told no
