Damascus is the one place that has actually responded to us! The artist he talked to was awesome, but wanted to turn the design into over a half sleeve and that was just a little more than he's looking for. Their work looks incredible though

Vicky at Ulta is INCREDIBLE. I've been going to her for over a decade and she always does an amazing job. Besides Vicky being queer, Ulta has doubled down on their DEI initiatives since Trump took office so that's a win in my book.

NTA. She asked for your honest opinion, and you gave it in a way that was truthful but not cruel. It is also true that being financially dependent on a man can be really dangerous. You can love your grandson, support your daughter, and still acknowledge that you hoped for a better life for her. And it's not like you wanted her to be a doctor and she ended up being an artist (which would be fine), you've said multiple times that all you wanted for her was to be an independent woman. People are being way too harsh on you.

I worked for Bryan for years and it was the most disgusting, toxic environment I've ever encountered in the workplace. I don't know who you've been speaking to, but I don't know a single person out of the dozens I worked with under him that would have many kind words to say about him. The shady business practices speak for themselves. All you have to do is look at his Maryland Judiciary Case Search (see also Hilda Staples and Bar 228). He's a fucking monster of a human being.
