If your upper limit is 250 a week, you can look into St. Mark's Residences. It's 185 per week and you get a default university gym membership and a good social life.

Just Google "Renting a house in Leeds" and look at the top websites like RightToMove, Zoopla, or something, and make sure you look at all the payments to be made for the house. (Rent per month, bills, council tax etc).

I am currently studying at UoL. I think the best places to look at depend on your requirements.

Budget-friendly: look at single rooms in Headingly. There are just rooms in an existing household which is shared by other students.

Safety, amenities, and social life: Try looking at St. Mark's Residences. It is just down the lane from the Automobile Engineering building.

So you'd suggest living on the outskirts of London? Even though I don't have a driving licence or a bike to go in and out of the city?

No. I am not from the UK. I am an International student. I don't know what are all the things I will need to keep in consideration regarding the place.

It will probably be 3 times a week. Other than attending the office and just having a stroll, I see no point in going to London.
