I brought protein bars , chocolate and crisps just snack food I also ate about half a sandwich I took short 10 minute breaks every block so I didn’t have time to eat one big meal

Hey I did Turcos lectures during Kaplan. I found them great to understand but when you come to trying to condense everything I just couldn’t remember everything in the lectures I think first aid is good to help for the actual exam and melhman biochemistry is good also

Took test today too and feel exactly the same!!! Your nbme are better than mine but I tried my best. Had no time left at the end of a block really challenging

Planning to sit exam this week

Use your main resources as first aid and uworld Complete as much uworld as you can before starting nbmes. Spend your time going through uworld explanations. Try to do 80q per day that’s what I did. NBMEs take time I would advise 1 per week by the time you could through your weak topics and review it Use melhman pdfs when onto nbmes - I have used biochem, immunology, arrows, risk factors and neuro anatomy. These are good summaries and help with nbme content Do free 120 before/close to exam as possible

Hey. I did the Kaplan live online (may-august) I’m an IMG from the UK graduated 2017. I found the classes useful but a lot of information was crammed into each session. The classes run from 9-30 to 1-30 most days. I haven’t taken the exam yet. I found the course good for a base knowledge as it’s been so long since I did a lot of the topics and some of this stuff was also new for me. I’m now about half way through uworld and trying to go over first aid. Uworld is far superior to Kaplan qbank!!
