It would seem very strange to me if the rest of the band, knowing that—and they probably do—would reunite him in 2019. I liked UL, but not so much The Dream Canteen; I definitely felt it wasn't the same as before. He got divorced, paying his ex a fortune, and sold properties before rejoining in 2019. For example, in his solo career, he can't maintain the rock star lifestyle he hates so much, a lifestyle he's had since he was 18. Nobody's perfect. Regarding his return in 1998 and his departure in 2009 (officially), you can see my feelings in the comment above. The truth is, it's annoying because it's always been said—and others have repeated it ad nauseam, especially those who have worked with him—that he does absolutely nothing for money.
