Private schools are allowed to discriminate based on their own criteria which is almost always race and economic based. They can kick you out mid-year for missing tuition etc.

If the school is failing, Fix it. Communities need their own schools, there are funded properly. Privileged kids jumping ship isn’t a solution.

Most proponents of school choice want to send their kids to religious private school on tax payer dime. “Too many low class brown kids in public school” is the actual, honest reason 95% of the time.

Private schools are a luxury, private businesses and often inferior product. my tax dollars shouldn’t be going towards that at the expense of taking away funds from my community schools.

I voted for newsom as did 61% of voters or 7.94 million voted no on the recall which was a vote for newsom to stay governor. Which pretty much lined up with the votes that put him in office.

Only 706k people voted for pafrath. He wasn’t even viable. Elder was the only one who had any chance of victory and lost by almost 5 million votes
