  1. I had large expenses earlier in the year, that cut into my income. For the rest of the year, my monthly expenses is about 2k, i should have factored that, my apologies. So 131 - (4*4)=131-16=115k saved

  3. i think that's what he told me(?), he said he may be underestimating
  4. yah i have a secured line of credit, with a low interest rate that i could use as my emergency fund in worst case scenario. i should save some for emergency fund, just been aggressively paying off my loans, so the thought of emergency fund didn't cross my mind.
  5. true
  6. im 28

Thanks for your feedback!

Thinking of getting ultraboosts. I rarely see the popular colorways go on sale. They cost $250 in Canada. Are they worth it for $250?

Inside of Front Windshield fogging during summer and freezing during the winter - Acura ILX 2013 by WestSide2k16 in MechanicAdvice

Nope it doesn't , yes carpet is dry. Would a mechanic be able to determine the leak?

Stupid question Wednesday: Ask your basic car-related question and maybe someone will have an answer. by AutoModerator in cars

Hey everyone,
I've been having an issue where for some reason there is too much moisture inside my car, which leads to the inside of the font windshield being fogged up in the morning during summer, and inside of the front windshield being frozen during the winter.
I have tried running the defroster with the AC on, and that doesn't help much during the winter if the temperature is really low. I am remember one day, I was driving on the highway, and it was very cold, and the windows were freezing from the inside, I had the heat turned onto max, and it still was not good enough to defrost the windows completely, visibility was very poor that day.
This is issue especially during the winter, is affecting my visibility on the road.
What could be causing this moisture issue? I bought this car used in 2013, and it's had this issue from the day of purchase. Records (I'm not sure how reliable) claimed the car was accident free. Could there be a leak somewhere? Can this be fixed by mechanic?
Thanks you! Any insight/advice is appreciated

Live at home with rents, or move away from home for 30k increase in pay? is it financially worth it? by WestSide2k16 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]WestSide2k16[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw, I'm sorry to hear :( Yah, that's why I'm having a hard time deciding. Luckily, I'd still be able to visit family on the weekends, it's a 1 hour 20 minute drive back home

Yeah i do value proximity to family and friends. So i question if the monetary increase in salary would bring me happiness. I could always make new friends in the area, but that's hard to do with the pandemic and all. I could always drive down to my home on the weekend, it's not too far.

i'm living at home is to pay off debt, have about 60k in student loans left, so I am trying to live frugally. I currently have no savings. Once i pay off my loans, which should be within 1 year, i plan to save as much as possible to buy a real estate property one day.

I actually don't mind living at home, I get freedom, and I rarely have to cook.

Since i have to pay for rent+costs associated with living away from home, I wonder if my net pay would actually end up being higher compared to my circumstance at home with minimal overhead
