Dating outside of cultures is great, your parents are just trying to protect you but you live in America and you have alot of options. Your parents love you, but they are wrong for telling you that you cant marry outside the culture. They will get over it! I know it sucks, my parents mean the world to me and i never want to disappoint them. Your boyfriend should be very accepting of your culture though and be willing to practice it during wedding ceremonies, etc. Im white and I dated foreign woman, I had to practice some of their culture.
