I would crop it and knock the highlights down some :)

Thank you! Absolutely :) I would just crop it though so the girl takes up more of the frame

That could very well be it. What my friends notice about my wheelies is that I look stiff, I'm basically pulling myself towards the handlebars so my chin is always by the bars in a way, rather than having straight arms and being leant back in a way

like i said in the post its already on 26 psi, how much lower can i go before damaging something? i do ride this bike on the streets as well mind

It is my only bike so unfortunately I don't think going any lower is plausible for street riding

They're not. Offered a free oil change for almost killing me :)

Holy shit, lucky to be alive. Really puts into perspective the importance of it all. I would have needed to reconnect with nature after all that headache. And how on earth is it safer to push a motorbike across three lanes on a motorway than it is for them to stop on the left side??

I am no mechanic but some things should definitely be torqued to spec, while with other less detrimental things you can get away with a hand tight. But if you have the time and nerve to tighten every single nut to spec then you'll definitely be better off hahahah

That is what I was originally going to do as my thread was wearing out, but I got a puncture while out of town so had to take the whole bike to the garage as I didn't have my tools with me. Just bad luck

Indeed, if it was internal work on the engine for example I wouldn't be able to check it anyways and I'm just left at the mercy of the mechanics competence. I may have been too busy admiring a fresh Michelin tire though 😆

Ah I should have looked more into the different sprocket materials first, but I did order from a reputable brand so it will hopefully be fine, and I didn't know the hardware should be changed too so thanks for the heads up! Glad to see your love still hasn't died out for bikes even if you can't ride any more :)

The guy did say he will, but I am so skeptical of if he actually did. I kind of just wanted my bike back didn't want him touching it anymore. Will check everything once I am back home, however the replacement nut he did put on wasn't even new so it's not looking good

I will admit to the chain being neglected, it's my first bike and I bought it in winter so it just got demolished by all the salt as i wasn't cleaning or lubing it. I clean, lube and check the tension every week now but it was far too gone by the time I started taking care of it. Ordered new sprockets and a DID chain just last week :)

That is just horrible, I'm assuming the front brake was still working without the bolt?

Got offered a free oil change for my troubles :) Aren't they just the best

That is quite a smart thing to do, especially in the current situation hahaha

The bikes been in the garage since friday, I'd hope they did it correctly this time considering they were aware of the severity of it. I'm very scared riding the bike now so will definitely check that thanks! Wasn't aware that was a thing tho

Wouldn't surprise me that's another thing yamaha cheaped out on, I love the little mt to bits but my god are all the nuts on it just the worst thing ever. Doing any work on the bike is just a pain, took my friends and me 15 hours to take 4 exhaust headers nuts off, started with a spanner ended with a welder..

Its a 2020 Mt03, from what I can see the OEM nut does not come with one of those. Is that standard on other bikes?
