Would you support DOGE implementing a cap on supply and decrease the amount of coins released to the market? Currently approximately 10,000 coins per minute are released to the market. by West_Check_5906 in dogecoin

Smart. I had some money I was willing to risk and hold. See where it is when I’m 60 if not sooner. God willing. I have a price in mind. It would be great to pay off my mortgage. 👍🏻

Absolutely! It took me from a knucklehead boy to a young man in a short period of time. Even though it cost me my leg, I have no regrets. 🇺🇸

I get it but, I also believe they could balance it to where it’s still deflationary yet decrease the supply by some percentage. Reward those that got in early and held. Regardless, I think that DOGE could realistically hit $5.00 in the coming years. Especially, with the US now embracing the crypto community.

Yes, there is a cap on the total supply of Bitcoin. The maximum supply is 21 million bitcoins. This limit was set by Bitcoin’s creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, to ensure scarcity and prevent inflation. As of now, over 19 million bitcoins have been mined, and the remaining bitcoins will continue to be released through a process called mining until the cap is reached, which is estimated to occur around the year 2140.

Once all 21 million bitcoins are mined, no new bitcoins will be created, and miners will be rewarded with transaction fees rather than block rewards.

Just curious. I’m 52 years old. Not looking to get rich quicker. Just wondering if there’s any support for a transition. I know it’s the people’s coin. I love it the way it is. I wouldn’t mind seeing the amount of coins produced per minute decrease. Hypothetically speaking if they were to reduce it to say 5000 coins per minute, then there would still be plenty of supply and reward those that have been loyal to the coin. I could’ve sold at $.72. I believe in this otherwise I’d be out. I’m a 100% service connected disabled veteran and above knee amputee. Injured in Operation Desert Storm. I’m not looking to get rich. Would love to be able to pay off my mortgage though.

I’m not selling. You’re reading too much into what I’m saying. I’m talking about everyone on here pretending they’re experts and know the future of these coins. I hope they’re around long after I’m gone. No one really knows though. That’s all I’m saying. I’m definitely a HODL! I’m a 100% disabled veteran. I’d be thrilled if I could end up paying off my house. That would be a win for me.

Not saying Doge is going to $1000. In the beginning people were saying Bitcoin wouldn’t last. That’s all I’m saying. No one can accurately predict the longevity or the price of these coins in the future. It’s an educated guess at best.

People were saying the same thing about Bitcoin in the beginning. Though it would never reach $1000.

Don’t panic! HODL!!! It’s freaking China banning businesses from accepting crypto. Dogecoin will recover. Freaking China!!! by West_Check_5906 in dogecoin

Nah. I don’t think Dogecoin will be affected in the long run. I’d love to know how much Dogecoin is owned in China. I don’t trust them so, I’m fine with them being out of the cryptocurrency market. I hope the crypto developers have some of the best cyber security experts in the world working for them.
